Bamboo Orchid Policies

Minimum Stays- All our rooms have a 2 night minimum stay. If you require a one night stay we can accommodate your request but a $35 cleaning surcharge will be added to cost of your stay.

Important Holiday Information:
Winter holiday reservations (15 December to 15 January) are non-refundable after Sept 25th. Merrie Monarch reservations are non-refundable after Feb 1.


Payment and Cancellation
We reserve the right to charge a deposit to your credit card equivalent to 50% of your total reservation cost at the time of booking (100% for one night stays), and the balance within 48 hours of your arrival. If we do not take a deposit, we will charge the full amount to your credit card within 7 days of your arrival. We accept Visa and Mastercard. For cancellations more than 2 weeks prior to check-in, there is no penalty (except during holiday periods listed above). Cancellations between 1 and 2 weeks of arrival will incur a penalty equal to 10% of the total cost of your stay. We do not accept cancellations within 7 days of arrival. In extraordinary circumstances, we may allow you to postpone your stay. Holidays are an exception to this policy, please see holiday information.

Check-in Time
Check-in time is between 4 and 6. If you are unable to check in at that time, you must contact the innkeeper (808-430-0159) to arrange for early or late check-in. Failure to do so can result in cancellation of your reservation. Please be aware that there are no streetlights in Volcano and it is difficult to find your way around at night. Please try to coordinate your schedule so you can check-in prior to sunset
(between 6 and 7).
